Hello! My name is Katie and I am the founder of Ambrosia Apothecary. I currently work as a Registered Nurse in a local pain clinic. My husband and I have been married going on 8 years this September. We have a two year old daughter, who keeps us busy!

Working as a nurse I know just how dry and cracked my hands can get from having to wash them a thousand times a day, which is why when I am home I really enjoy using soap products that are very gentle on my skin.

I remember the first time I started making soap, I was 8 years old and my mom bought me a small soap making kit. Being able to make a product that I would normally buy at the store was fascinating to me and I have since grown this simple pleasure into a passion. By working together with Hannah Bee Honey, I have had the opportunity to use pure, raw, unfiltered honey and beeswax in my soaps and lip balms, providing a smoother and creamier texture to my products and being able to know where my supplies are coming from.
